fantastic stay

attentive staffdog friendlydirty carpet
I loved how well they handled gluten and lactose intolerances. the staff was very attentive. local walks were accessible, and the village was nearby! the place is dog friendly. It is a real plus.
the bedroom carpet was quite dirty, possibly because dirt was seeping up from the floorboards. i also noticed a spider web attached to the top of the four poster bed, a bit off-putting. the skirting boards needed repainting.

Acceptable Stay

warm bedroomhigh standardquality ingredientshower leakshower temperaturepoor bathroom
The bedroom was warm. The evening meal was cooked to a high standard. Good quality ingredients were noticeable. I appreciated the nice staff.
The shower leaked around the shower head. The shower temperature fluctuated randomly between cold and hot. This made showering difficult. The bathroom was not very good.
